Marisol Jasso

I am a 23-year-old, Mexican- American Woman/daughter of immigrants.

Education

I am a graduate from the University of California Los Angeles with a BA in Sociology and Minor in Community Engagement & Social Change. I have obtained an Associates in both Sociology and Spanish from Santa Barbara City College. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Educational Leadership with an Emphasis in Higher Education from the California State University Channel Islands.

 

Personal

Besides education I am very engaged in my community and strive to create social change in our society. I hope to become someone who is able to understand the issues that are creating social inequalities in our society and in turn empower the communities who are facing these injustices.
